Name: Cornelia

Gender: Female ♀

Species: #334 Altaria

Ability: Natural Cure - status ailments will only have effect for a short time

Moveset:
:icondragontypeplz: Dragon Pulse - Forming a shock wave with their mouth (or hands in gijinka form), the user sends a blast of energy towards the opponent. ( 85 Power / 100% Accuracy )
:iconflyingtypeplz: Sky Attack - The user stores up power, glowing with an odd light until they charge into their opponent. (Or in certain cases, charge the arrow and fire it) on the second turn. The chance of getting critical hits also increases. (140 Power / 90% Accuracy)
:iconnormaltypeplz: Safeguard - A forcefield created by the user that protects themselves and their teammates from receiving status conditions for a short amount of time. It also works well as a quick diversion in certain situations, because of its shimmer. If used under sunlight, it can shine brightly for a second, allowing her to flee if needed.
:iconfairytypeplz: Moonblast - Harnessing the power of the moon (like a certain sailor), the user forms a beam to attack their target. It also may decrease the Special Attack stat of its target by one level. ( 95 Power / 100% Accuracy )

Description (Pokemon Form): Now evolved, Cornelia stands at around three feet tall, with a wingspan of around nine feet and weighs within the average of her species. Her wings are fluffy as clouds (which she takes pride in), and she makes sure that they remain clean and white whenever she can. The azure protrusions at the top of her head are still short, though they have grown in size. Most of the time, she ties them together with a ribbon.
While her physical appearance may not be all that great, Cornelia does make it up with a wonderful voice. It's song-like and clear, with the occasional shrill when she is yelling or astonished. Along with her bow, it is the only thing from her regular form that is completely carried on along transformation.

Description (Human Form): In dungeons, Cornelia has the body of a young female with a spoon shaped body. She has shapely legs that are a bit on the thin side and a waist that is similar to an hourglass, though she does have a little tummy fat. (Hiding it is pretty easy, though.) Her arms are strong enough, but don't have a lot of muscle on them. Her hair is silky and soft to the touch, with a healthy shine to it. Leaving behind her old dress once evolving, Cornelia now wears a dress that fits gently around her body, dipping into a v in the back so her shoulder blades are exposed. Upon her evolution, she received a pair of white wings, protruding from the said area. She takes extra care in cleaning her feathers. Her height is a little short of 5'6 (or 168 cm) and she weighs about 119 lbs. (or about 54 kg.).

Personality: ( Mild / Somewhat vain )
Most of the time, Cornelia is a well-mannered and collected individual who knows when to keep her mouth shut. It's easy for her to socialize with many people, though she is picky about who she keeps close to her. She is also rather judgmental about clothing and etiquette, and can be called critical by some due to her tenancy to try to make things perfect and in order. This bleeds into her narcissistic tendencies, such as grooming herself frequently despite not needing any, or organizing her team's bag like some sort of machine from another world. This has become a habit mainly because 'Kaleo is a huge slob that grew up without a mother to set him straight', though it's more of an act of kindness towards a friend than a complaint. She rather enjoys cleaning anyway. Also highly independent, she often refuses help from others, even if she needs it.
If someone can get through the busy and uptight personality of Cornelia, they'll see that she's a compassionate and motherly figure who can be very loyal.

Combat: As stated above, Cornelia uses her nimble feet and thin build to an advantage. Equipped with a long bow, she stays more in the back or above her opponent when fighting if possible, shooting an array of arrows and attacks down upon them. Her quiver is strapped around her back, filled with arrows for her to shoot.

Backstory: Coming from a long line of majestic Altaria, Cornelia does her best to live up to her family's name. Her mother, a regal Altaria with a high reputation for being beautiful and keeping up a good business, taught her many things about being a lady and how to manage a business. Her father, on the other hand, was often away from home planning strategies or at war, and she scarcely remembers seeing him during her childhood. However, living in a large town did have its advantages. She was able to explore most of the marketplaces and buildings that stood in trees and on the shade under them, as well as meet many Pokemon from different lands.
One day, however, she had received news that her father had gone missing after a large storm and had separated from his squad while flying back home. Devastated and young, she assumed that her father would arrive home shortly because he a was a mighty general that fought countless wars. Soon, though, her mothers mannerisms said otherwise. As the days went by, her mother became more and more withdrawn, and refused to answer any questions about her father. This caused Cornelia to become very independent later on, and she eventually gave up speaking to her mother, and a long silence passed between them for many months, until Horatia, her aunt, came by to take care of the business and estate. Crude and demanding, she treated Cornelia as another one of her workers, though she did provide for her like any caretaker would.
Eventually, when she became of age, Cornelia decided it was time to leave home. After many goodbyes to her childhood friends and mother, who had finally started to leave the silence she had created, she flew off in search of another town or new adventure.
It was during one of her voyages that she met Kaleo. While flying over a chain of islands, she decided to rest at a low-inhabited place that was lined with large tropical trees and had an array of plants and berries for eating. Searching around for some berries and seeds, she had let her guard down, and that was when a Seviper leaped out of the bushes and bit her wing. Her cries were heard by a certain Whismur tribe that had been feasting in the area near her. Together, they scared the Seviper away with their high-pitched screeches, saving Cornelia before she became a meal.
A few weeks of staying with the tribe did Cornelia no good; she was sick of their manners and messiness. While she accepted their gifts and food sincerely, she had grown tired of their chanting and endless rituals. So, once her wing healed to its normal condition, she prepared to set off again. On the night before she left, the tribe held a feast in honor of her, since she had done a lot to help out the tribe while she had resided with them. After the feast, she spent some time alone on the beach to cool off from all the excitement, and it was there she conversed with Kaleo for the first time. He too wanted to leave his home and search for a new place to stay, and had the same passion for adventure as Cornelia did. At first, the Swablu wanted nothing with Kaleo, though she warmed up to him quickly. Together they planned to leave the island the next morning, since Cornelia had spotted a group of Lapras coming by the island to eat the rich sea grass it had.
The next day, the duo sailed on the back of a kind Lapras who was called Light On Water, an old and experienced Lapras with a large shell. He told them of the many lands and towns he had visited, with one in particular. Both were excited by the stories he told them about that place, and they asked to be dropped off near the place. His clan agreed and in a week or two they arrived at a shore near Blue Town, and ventured out until they came to their destination.

Other Information:
❀ Her vocal range is soprano, though she can sing about five notes below her range with comfort.
❀ She detests sour berries and foods. The smell of citrus does comfort her, though.
❀ When nobody's watching, she'll eat a lot of sweets.
❀ She likes to stock up on supplies when going on missions.
❀ It's easy for her to be flustered over certain topics.
❀ The white bow she wears was given to her by a friend before she left home.
❀ She took no money from her mother and aunt, wanting to build her fortune by herself, not by borrowing.
❀ Starmiebucks is her guilty pleasure.
❀ Ann calls her 'Princess' or 'Brat'.
❀ Her birthday is during the middle of the 6th cycle. (September 12th)

Name: Kaleo (or just Kal) (meaning sound in Hawaiian)

Gender: Male ♂

Species: #293 Whismur

Ability: Soundproof - He's not deaf, though.

Moveset:
:iconnormaltypeplz: Hyper Voice - Kaleo yells a terrible sound that echoes, preventing anyone from being able to hear for a few hours if they are in a at least seven foot distance from him. ( 90 Power / 100% Accuracy )
:iconnormaltypeplz: Stomp - While useless in Pokemon form, as a gijinka, the user stomps down on its opponent (if possible). It could also make the target flinch. ( 65 Power / 100% Accuracy )
:iconnormaltypeplz: Roar - Used to scare off monsters or frighten enemies into switching out with a nearby partner.
:iconnormaltypeplz: Supersonic - By creating a high-frequency sound, the victim is confused. ( 0 Power / 55% Accuracy )

Description (Pokemon Form): In Kaleo's Pokemon form, he's a rather large Whismur, like all the others of his tribe. Standing at a little more than two feet and five inches (or a little under 0.8 meters) and weighing at about forty-six pounds, he's a lot stronger than most of his species. His coloring is the same as a normal Whismur, though the yellow marking on his ears are slightly different than a normal Whismurs, though this is a trait shared by the other Whismur of his tribe. He has a scar on his ear from a scuffle with a Zigzagoon during a patrol from years before that he keeps hidden with a bandanna in his regular form, though he leaves it uncovered when fighting in dungeons.

Description (Human Form): When rescuing Pokemon in dungeons, Kaleo gains a square-shaped face with a cleft chin, along with tanned skin. A tattoo is also circling his right eye with the same symbol on his bandanna. His eyes are a darker yellow color than his ears, with his original eyes expressed as his pupils. Unlike Cornelia, his hair turns into a darker shade of purple, slightly mixed with gray. The scar he has on his ear moves to the bridge of his nose, which is a bright shade of pink. While this does little to his senses, his eyesight is generally bad. Because of this, he relies on his other senses, mainly sound and smell. His voice is also deeper and booming, allowing for echoes to be heard easier, though it can be quite annoying to others. Since he still has islander blood running in his veins, he refuses to wear glasses, despite his poor vision due to fear of new technology. His hair is coarse and thick. His build is a bit more muscular than lean, and he stands at 6'0 even.

Personality: ( Brave / Proud of its power )
Since he was the child of the leader of his tribe, Kaleo was always a proud individual who acknowledged his strength and social class. This led him to being a little too cocky and arrogant at times, which led the the annoyance of many of the villagers. However, due to his power, no one was able to make remarks about him, or else they would receive punishment. Growing up like this, he became self-centered and quite mean. As the whispered complaints grew, however, he slowly began to see how terrible he was, and spent time humbling himself. Nothing could stop his occasional boasting or braggart-like behavior, but he did manage to stop being so selfish all the time. During an encounter with a feral Zigzagoon, he defended his patrol by distracting the creature so they could flee and alert the village by attacking the Pokemon and emerging from his hiding spot. This showed that he had changed his ways and from then on he was called "The Brave One". He's also somewhat of a slob, since he's accustomed to leave things wherever he pleases and have his servants clean for him. Despite his many negative traits, Kaleo has a high patience and works well with children. If a child is ever in danger, he'll defend them no matter what the situation is.

Combat: Using his muscular build to an advantage, Kaleo carries a war hammer with short but sharp peaks on each end, similar to a meat tenderizer. Since his vision isn't the best, he's better skilled at melee and hand-to-hand combat. His accuracy isn't the best, but the hammer allows him to hit a large area with a lot of power, though his movements are sluggish due to its weight. He can also use the body of the hammer for defending from swords by holding it sideways. Like Cornelia, he also uses his voice to attack.

Backstory: Born to a family of Exploud, Kaleo is the second oldest in a line of seven children. He has three brothers and three sisters, which all lived in the same hut as him. Because his brother, Likeke, was the oldest of the male children, he inherited his father's role of leader, as well as a large sum of his fortune. Although he understood the custom of passing the role to the eldest living son, he became jealous of Likeke and tried to show his father how great he was compared to his brother. While these plans failed, he did end up improving his strength immensely, though this turned out to be more than a self-esteem boost. He became overly sure of himself and rude towards others, especially his siblings. Many years went by like this, until he gave up on becoming chief and saw the aftermath of his cruelty. His brothers and sisters had grown afraid of him due to his bursts of anger; they were used to the kind and big-hearted Whismur who knew how to keep a family together, not drive it apart. Noticing his wrong doings, he humbled himself and began working towards becoming more generous and less boastful. Over time, his siblings grew more fond of him, and even his father recognized him as a good Pokemon with a kind heart.
The other members of the tribe, however, were not convinced. They whispered behind his back about his selfish deeds and often made jokes about him, calling him "The Tyrant" whenever he was nearby. These words and rumors brought Kaleo's spirit down greatly, causing him to plan a new way to prove that he had changed for the better.
A chance came one day when he was out on a patrol with some members of his father's guard, after a Zigzagoon had been seen lurking around the camp. It spotted them immediately and began to show its teeth at their direction, before charging at the bushes where they were hiding. With the patrol dispersed in different directions, Kaleo finally understood what he had to do, even if it meant that it might cost his life. Storming towards the Zigzagoon, he cried loudly to startle it before tackling it down. After a short scuffle with it, he managed to drive it off, but received a nasty scratch on his ear. When he arrived back to the village, bleeding and losing consciousness, he was celebrated as a hero and mostly forgiven for his sins.
Life continued to be peaceful, until a Swablu landed on their island to feast. While on a patrol, Kaleo heard the bird Pokemon searching for seeds and berries along the shore, close to where a Seviper had been spotted a day before. Not wanting to risk the lives of his partners yet, he waited for the Seviper to move before doing anything. It leaped and bit into the wing of the Swablu, causing it to cry out in pain. He then instructed his team to screech loudly to startle the Seviper; a tactic he had learned from his father during his childhood. It worked, and they were able to bring the Swablu back to camp to be looked at by the medic.
Weeks went by, and with the Swablu's help, the tribe was able to spot enemies from farther away and move around. They celebrated for her gifts often, though she didn't seem to enjoy it that much. When she finally revealed that she was planning to leave, the tribe held one last feast before sending her off.
As much as Kaleo wanted to stay on the island, he began to feel a craving for something new. He wanted to see what was beyond the seemingly endless blue sea and meet Pokemon from different lands like his father had done during his youth. On the night of the festival he talked with the Swablu, who introduced herself as Cornelia, and the two planned to leave together with a group of Lapras that had stopped by the other day.
After their adventure on the back of Light on Water, the two made their way to the fabled Blue Town. It was on their journey that they discussed what type of team they wanted to be together. First, they planned on becoming and exploration team, but eventually that plan was let go and replaced with becoming a rescue team. Both had a common interest in saving others, their reasons from personal experiences. With heightened spirits, the two quickened their pace and arrived at Blue Town two days ahead of schedule. They currently reside at the Blue Shanty.

Other Information:
❀ Unlike Cornelia, he's a terrible singer. This can't stop him from humming tunes to himself, though.
❀ He prefers spicy foods over sweet.
❀ Giving nicknames is second nature to him.
❀ It's surprisingly easy to get him drunk, since he spent most of his life drinking no alcohol.
❀ He's skilled at skipping rocks in his human form for whatever reason.
❀ While he can't sing, he has good pitch.
❀ His birthday is during the end of the 9th Cycle. (December 21st)

Name: Marianne (goes by Ann)

Gender: Female ♀

Species: #559 Scraggy

Ability: Moxie - attack raised by one stage when a Pokemon (monster) or other person is defeated

Moveset:
:icondarktypeplz: Feint Attack - Quickly running towards her opponent, Ann ducks and throws a sucker punch. Depending on how tall they are, she'll either punch straight at them or jump and punch. ( 60 Power / Perfect Accuracy )
:iconnormaltypeplz: Headbutt - One of Ann's favorite moves, she'll simply charge if there's an open spot and hit her opponent by bashing her head on them. If used on another's head in human form, she'll have slight recoil and be dazed for a few moments. ( 70 Power / 100% Accuracy )
:iconfightingtypeplz: Focus Punch - The user prepares their attack by standing still and working themselves up for one turn before smashing their fist into their opponent. If the user is hit with an attack while charging, the attack will fail. ( 150 Power / 100% Accuracy )
:iconfightingtypeplz: Brick Break - Another of Ann's favorites, she chops her target swiftly with the side of her hand before jumping away. She can also break through barriers with this. ( 75 Power / 100% Accuracy )

Description (Pokemon Form): Standing a below average height at one foot and five inches exact (about 0.4 meters) Ann weighs about 30 pounds (about 13.6 kilograms), which is a little overweight for her size. She's a little darker than her own species, though it was a trait passed down from her mother. Other than that, Ann looks like a regular Scraggy, except for the piercing on the little red vestigial part on the top of her head.

Description (Human Form): In her most comfortable state, Ann reaches a height of 5'2, (about 157 centimeters), becoming the shortest member of the group. She has a somewhat bulky frame with broad shoulders, with a some muscle on her arms and thighs. Her hair is a darker blonde and reaches to the middle of her back when it's not in a bun, which is only undone when she sleeps. Her forehead is covered with choppy bangs that slide to the right. Leaving her shoulders and arms bare, Ann wears a simple red tank top with wider straps, as well as a pair of baggy pants held up by suspenders. (Because Mew knows how hard it is to fight and hold your pants up at the same time.) With some of the team's Mew Cash, she purchased new sneakers, since her old high-tops were worn out.

Personality: ( Naughty / Likes to fight )
Growing up on the streets hardened Ann's heart over the years. Taught to be highly defensive and very distrusting of others, Ann confides in no one except for herself. However, having no trust doesn't mean that she's quiet. In fact, she's quite the opposite. Her past transformed her into a gruff woman who says what she wants to and isn't afraid to pick a fight if she feels like it. Despite her hard outer-shell, though; she has a soft side for children (even if she refuses to acknowledge it) due to her siblings. She usually speaks her mind unless she deems the situation and/or person too boring to talk to, or if she's downright tired of interaction.
Upon meeting Kaleo and Cornelia, she eventually learned to open up to others again, showing a fierce loyalty underneath her raging temper and mood swings. (Though she still nags at the two often.)

Combat: Ann likes to fight in a classic fashion of pounding the life out of her target with either her bat or fists. If her opponents are unaffected, she'll either leave them for the others or jab them in the eyes and then beat them up or go for their sensitive spots (if they have any, of course).

Backstory: Ann was the first born to her Scrafty mother, who lived in a busy city in a dungeon located near a desert. Tall buildings stretched towards the heavens and humans ran about doing work or selling items, and the bars were crowded with drunks and business men alike. Among most of these bars prostitutes were plenty, which were one of the main sources of income for the bars. One of these, an unnamed bar that sat on the corner of the street and extended into an alleyway, was where Ann's mother worked. After a couple months of working there, she became pregnant with Ann on accident, and a few months later the Scrafty had a daughter to take care of as well. It was during this time that Ann was quiet and shy, especially since her mother was gone half the time serving the customers.
Five years passed by and Ann got three more siblings; two younger sisters and one infant brother. The bar became quieter and business lacked after a law was passed through that prostitution was banned, and shut down in a couple of weeks due to loss of business. Thus, the family was kicked out and lived on the streets, barely keeping themselves from starvation by becoming urchins and pick-pocketing. Eventually, her mother got sick and passed away, leaving her children orphans. By then Ann, the oldest, was only six years old, with her younger siblings getting worse everyday.
It was pure luck that a Wailmer led them to the city's overcrowded orphanage. Once the family got there, they were greeted harshly and nearly thrown out, if it wasn't for the youngest brother being deathly ill at the age of three. They were brought into a large building that was stuffy and filled with the voices of children like them, though it wasn't as welcoming as it seemed. Children fought over food and sleeping places, usually grouping up and attacking individuals and then taking their food. Shrouded with fear, the children hid in the farthest and coldest spot for a few days, until one day a large group of Machop nearly killed the healthy ones and ended up killing her youngest brother. Angered, Ann finally spoke up and smashed one of their faces in before getting bruised further and taken away by one of the employees.
More time went by and the orphanage was still bustling with children, though Ann finally took her place as queen and beat up any of the competition. Her sisters lived somewhat peaceful lives and got enough gruel to stay healthy, though they were sickly looking like the rest. The Machop group became the lowest of the children, and for a while, everything went fine. Then, a family joined the orphanage and kicked Ann from her throne.
Beaten like it was her first day, she and her sisters became sick and bruised, with one of them dying due to malnutrition. Tired of living in danger and disappointment, Ann and her last sibling fled from the place and went to the streets once again, fueled by desperation to get out of the place. By then, Ann was eleven and her sister ten, so they worked at a factory that paid them half what they were supposed to get for working. Barely holding on to life, the two worked their hardest and saved enough money to buy a small space near the factory, and they lived there for a three years until another event took a life.
Maddened by the never-ending work and tough conditions, one of the employees decided to bring a gun and shoot other workers, as well as the guards. Crowds of people charged for the doors while some jumped from the windows, and soon enough a fire began to spread through the factory, killing dozens. Ann and her sister fled to the upper floor, where the fire hadn't touched. However, the shooter pursued them and the others and began going berserk there, killing some and then wounding Ann's sister. As the flames climbed up the staircase, panic spread again, but the Scraggy were thrown to the floor as others pushed past them, leaving them one of the last ones to leave the building.
Right as they were about to jump from the window, Ann's sister was fatally shot, causing her to stop and panic while the shooter came closer. Instead of killing her however, he shot himself, scarring the Scraggy for life as she leaped from the window and onto the hard concrete below. Receiving a few scratches and a sprained ankle, the girl fled from the scene as fast as she could, and searched for a place to hide.
A few days after the incident, Ann was taken in a kind, widowed Araidos who owned a small bakery. Relieved to have found shelter and a place to stay, Ann became grateful to the woman and opened up to her. She then worked at the bakery once her leg healed, though she wasn't that good with the customers due to her lack of patience and temper. Instead, she baked the bread and pastries, finding out that she was quite skilled at it.
Once she turned sixteen, Ann said goodbye to her friend (not wanting to call her mother) and left the city for good, sick of being haunted by the past. She ventured through the desert for two years before arriving to Blue Town and meeting Team Starlight at a bar at Frisky Frontier, where she less than happily agreed to be their third member.
